Achievements of Southeast Asian Airlines in Latest Skytrax Rankings

The Skytrax awards, presented on July 17's evening in London, are based on surveys of travellers who rated more than 335 airlines between August last year and May this year.

Award winners were selected based on reviews by global travellers focusing on outstanding service, quality and value.

According to Skytrax, besides the big winning of Singapore Airlines (SIA) that clinched the title of world's best airline, herewith are other achievements unlocked by other airlines in the region:

Best Regional Airlines in Asia 2018: BANGKOK AIRWAYS

World's Best Low-Cost Airline: AIRASIA

 World's Best Cabin Crew: GARUDA INDONESIA

 

🇸🇬 Congratulations, @singaporeair . Singapore Airlines (SIA) was named the world’s best airline in Skytrax’s 2018 World Airline Awards, retaking the position it last held in 2008. SIA has been moving up the rankings in recent years – it came in third in 2016 and was placed second in 2017. The Singapore carrier also took top spot for three other categories - best airline in Asia, world’s best first class and best first class airline seat. The awards are based on surveys of more than 20 million travellers, who rated more than 335 airlines between August 2017 and May 2018.
