Philippines could be the next aviation hub in Southeast Asia, or even in Asia and rival Singapore after the MoU between goverment of Philippines and China was signed to build a staggering $20 billion airport and seaport in Sangley Point.  Geographically, Philippines is indeed located in a very strategic location and when this megaproject completes, this country will further benefit from this.

This airport will be designed with two separate runways and linked to Metro Manila with highways. Nearby, Sangley International Seaport, which is also part of the MoU, will also be constructed.  It's near to International Industry Zone in Cavite province.

Philippines is so strategic in Asia that it should be its manufacturing and export hub. The project was envisioned several years ago but could not be submitted because the previous administration was not open to unsolicited proposals.
