Koh Pich is the new district of Phnom Penh on the Mekong and Bassac rivers. This “little Paris” is a part of a commercial project called Elysée developed by the Overseas Cambodian Investment Corporation (OCIC)
The land was a swamp until the year 2000, but it is now under work and could become the Phnom Penh residential district and a separate municipality.
A neighborhood named "The Elysée" has a style inspired by Paris. In other areas, high towers are under construction. Almost all of the island is in Chamkar Mon Section
The Elysee is a commercial building encircled by many modern business shops, enabling everyone to invest, travel, eat, take pictures with French buildings, and enjoy the scenic view along the Dong Ton.
It also has proper sidewalks and pedestrian walkways for walking. Diamond Island as "Europe" in Southeast Asia, as this location would be suitable for filming movies.
