Since its inauguration in December 2021, the China-Laos Railway has operated 20,000 passenger trains and transported 10.3 million passengers as of February 2023.
The China section of the railway conducted 8.7 million passenger trips per year, with 65,000 passengers per day. The China Railway Kunming Group Co., Ltd. reported that a total of 1,600,000 passenger journeys were recorded on the Laos section, with the daily passenger count reaching 8,800.
The number of passenger-service-capable stations in Laos has increased from seven in the initial period to ten.
"The China-Laos railway's passenger volume has continued to increase, and its service quality has vastly improved. According to Zheng Bin, deputy stationmaster of Kunming Railway Station, the railroad facilitates and expedites travel for the people of the two countries.
The China-Laos railway is anticipated to launch cross-border passenger trains this year in an effort to improve passenger and cargo transport.
The China-Laos Railway connects Kunming in Yunnan Province in southwest China to Vientiane, the capital of Laos. The 1,035-kilometer railway, a landmark Belt and Road cooperation project, went into operation on December 3, 2021.

Then I was assigned for 1 year in Cambodia, as a country coordinator mostly to deliver developmental programs (water and sanitation, education, livelihood). In 2009, he continued his career as a protocol and HR officer at the U.S. Consulate General in Surabaya, and two years later I joined the Political and Economic Section until now, where i have to deal with extensive range of people and government officials, as well as private and government institution troughout eastern Indonesia.
