This morning, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk, arrived at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali. He came to attend the 10th World Water Forum and to inaugurate the Starlink service at one of the Public Health Centers (Puskesmas) in Denpasar. His arrival was welcomed by the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan.

The inauguration of the Starlink service was originally scheduled to be attended by President Joko Widodo, but the Tesla CEO was ultimately accompanied by Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Budi Arie Setiadi, and Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono.

Elon Musk arrived at Puskesmas Pembantu Sumerta Kelod, Denpasar, Bali at 16:45 WITA to hand over the Starlink equipment, wearing a green batik shirt with yellow motifs, as reported by CNBC Indonesia. This partnership between the Ministry of Health and Starlink aims to provide Internet access to all Puskesmas in Indonesia.

For more information, Starlink, SpaceX's satellite internet service, uses a constellation of satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO) to provide high-speed internet access worldwide, especially in remote areas. Using small dish receivers, users can connect to the satellite network, bringing fast and reliable Internet connections to the people of Indonesia.

In addition to the Starlink launch, Elon Musk is scheduled to speak at the opening of the 10th World Water Forum in Bali on Monday, May 20. He will also be the keynote speaker and meet with the  President of Indonesia at the opening ceremony.
