After competing in the Window 1 of the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 qualifiers on February 22, 2024, Indonesia and Thailand are ready to face off again in the second window, scheduled for November 24, 2024, at the Indonesia Arena.

In their previous encounter, Thailand delivered an impressive performance as the host, winning 73-56 (17-8, 18-17, 25-10, 13-21) against Indonesia.

Basketball fans who are eager to support their teams can attend the match live at the Indonesia Arena, as ticket sales officially opened on November 15, 2024. The Indonesia Arena can accommodate up to 16,500 spectators.

FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Group A

Before facing each other, Indonesia will face South Korea at the Goyang Gymnasium, and Thailand face Australia at the Nimibutr Stadium on November 21, 2024. Indonesia and Thailand are both in Group A alongside Australia and South Korea. 

Twenty-four nations will compete for 15 spots in the FIBA Asia Cup 2025, as host Saudi Arabia has automatically qualified. The top 2 teams from each of the 6 groups will automatically qualify, while the 3rd place teams will compete for the remaining 3 spots.

Currently, Indonesia is in 4th place with 2 points, while Thailand holds 3rd place with 3 points. Australia is in 1st place, followed by South Korea in 2nd.
