The latest report from the TomTom Traffic Index provides insights into traffic conditions across 500 cities in 62 countries. Using Floating Car Data (FCD), this index offers an in-depth analysis of average travel times and congestion levels in various cities throughout 2024.
The study considers two main factors influencing travel time: static factors such as road infrastructure and speed limits, and dynamic factors such as congestion, road maintenance, and weather conditions.
By processing data from over 737 billion kilometers of travel, this report sheds light on how traffic is evolving in cities worldwide.
