KWC Fashion Wholesale, one of Malaysia’s largest fashion centers, unveiled its 2026 Raya Collection early through the Raya Preview Fashion Show 2025 on November 14. The event showcased a blend of tradition and modern flair, offering media, buyers, and fashion industry players a chance to preview next year’s festive trends ahead of the Raya season.

The showcased collections are already market-ready, allowing boutique owners, small retailers, and wholesale buyers to place early orders. The event’s format was designed as both a space for inspiration and a business platform that connects designers, buyers, and industry professionals.

Key Highlights: The Runway and 2026 Raya Trends

Two main segments formed the core of the event: the Raya 2026 Runway Showcase and the Raya Trend Analysis & Sharing Session.

On the runway, KWC presented an array of festive looks for Hari Raya and Chinese New Year. The lineup included traditional attire, casualwear, abayas, plus-size fashion, children’s outfits, and oriental-inspired designs. The overall collection blended Malaysian cultural elements with fresher, modern aesthetics.

The trend analysis session explored the key colors, materials, and styles predicted to define Raya 2026. This insight serves as an important reference for retailers, media, and industry players seeking an early understanding of upcoming trends.

Driving Local Fashion Forward

Wendy Lam, Advertising & Promotions Manager at KWC Fashion Wholesale, emphasized that the event is not just a creative showcase but also a platform that supports the industry.

“This Raya Preview Fashion Show highlights the beauty of festive designs while giving everyone a glimpse of what’s coming next Raya. KWC Fashion Wholesale, Malaysia’s leading fashion hub, is proud to share the festive trends shaping the local fashion scene while supporting creative talents,” she said.

In addition to the showcase, attendees were invited to join a special mall tour visiting stores carrying the runway-featured collections.

Malaysia’s Fashion Powerhouse

KWC Fashion Wholesale is recognized as a major wholesale and retail hub with over 800 outlets and 500,000 square feet of retail space. Since opening in 2011, it has offered a diverse range of fashion products, accessories, cosmetics, bags, and lifestyle items.

With complete facilities including F&B, event spaces, and business services, KWC continues to be a key destination for wholesale industry players.

Wendy also highlighted the challenges faced by the retail sector amid e-commerce competition and economic pressures. According to her, in-person shopping still offers satisfaction and added value, especially for buyers and business owners who require direct interaction and product assessment.

Showcasing Rising Talent

This year’s runway also featured the winners of KWC Model Search 2024 and 2025, accompanied by 12 young models and a children’s showcase presented in collaboration with SL Event. Their participation reinforces KWC’s role in nurturing local modeling talent while supporting the creative ecosystem within the fashion industry.
