The 2025 Indonesian Film Festival (FFI) Citra Awards took place on Thursday (November 20) at Teater Jakarta, Taman Ismail Marzuki, delivering a lively and festive celebration. The annual event once again captured the attention of the national film industry, not only for its tight competition across categories, but also for several noteworthy moments that stood out throughout the night.
One of the most prominent highlights this year came from Pengepungan di Bukit Duri, which emerged as the film with the most wins. Although it did not secure any of the top categories, the film led the tally with a total of five awards.
Meanwhile, Pangku achieved a major milestone by winning Best Feature Film, earning four awards in total, including Christine Hakim’s win for Best Supporting Actress.
Another film that shone during the ceremony was Sore: Istri dari Masa Depan, which also took home four awards, including Best Director and Best Actress.
