Good News From Indonesia (GNFI), in collaboration with Unilever Indonesia, has officially concluded the Good Creators Academy (GCA) 2025, a free training program aimed at senior high school students and equivalent levels from across Indonesia.

jThe initiative was designed to nurture young content creators who are not only technically skilled, but also value-driven in spreading positive and inspiring narratives through social media.

As the culmination of the program, five outstanding participants were selected to receive an educational trip to Malaysia. This opportunity served as recognition of their consistency, quality of work, and commitment to promoting good news throughout all stages of the academy.

Five Top Talents from Across the Country

The announcement of the five winners was made on the final day of the offline camp held in Jakarta on Tuesday (December 23, 2025). The selected students were Ni Made Ayu Bintang Victoria from Bali, Priska Wulan Ramadhani from East Java, Fahri Isra Rachmansyah from Central Java, Fahry Winata Sadlir from Bengkulu, and Nicole Sugiharto from East Java.

Their selection was determined through in-depth deliberations and assessments by the jury panel, which considered several key indicators, including participants’ engagement and consistency throughout the training, the quality and originality of their content, and the alignment of values in conveying positive narratives.

This process marked the conclusion of a rigorous selection journey that demanded strong commitment from all participants.

The educational trip to Malaysia was made possible through GNFI’s collaboration with Locco, an international community and digital platform known for actively promoting Malaysian arts and culture through cross-border creative projects.

Inside the Selection Process

GCA 2025 recorded broad participation from across the archipelago. Since registration opened on November 10, 2025, the program attracted 212 students from Aceh to Southwest Papua.

From this pool, 100 participants were selected to join an online bootcamp, which was later narrowed down to 15 finalists who earned the opportunity to take part in a three-day intensive offline training program in Jakarta.

During the offline camp, finalists received mentorship through talk show sessions with industry practitioners and took part in educational visits to several institutions, including BINUS University and Grha Unilever.

These activities were designed to broaden participants’ perspectives across the creative industry, education, and impactful communication practices.

A Cross-Border Mission to Share Good News

In Malaysia, the five selected Good Creators were not only engaged in travel experiences, but were also challenged to observe, experience, and repackage the positive stories they encountered into creative content.

This cross-border exposure is expected to enrich their perspectives while strengthening the role of young people as conveyors of constructive narratives in the digital space.

The GCA 2025 series underscores GNFI’s and Unilever Indonesia’s commitment to providing inclusive learning opportunities for students, while fostering the growth of young creators who deliver positive, relevant messages to a wider audience.
