According to a 2024 survey by Medihair, Thailand has been identified as the Southeast Asian country with the highest percentage of bald men. The survey, which assesses male hair loss rates by population percentage, highlights Thailand's leading position in the region.
In the global ranking, Spain holds the top spot with 44.50% of its male population affected by baldness. Saudi Arabia ranks 15th globally with a 39.75% rate. In Southeast Asia, Thailand leads with 30.94%, followed by Malaysia at 29.24%, the Philippines at 28.00%, and Indonesia at 26.96%.
These figures reflect the varying rates of male hair loss across the region, underscoring the significant prevalence of baldness in Thailand compared to its Southeast Asian neighbors.
