Indonesia has the most national holidays among Southeast Asian countries in 2024, with a total of 27 days. This is according to data published by the ASEAN Main Portal in the report titled “ASEAN Member States National Holidays 2024.”

Following Indonesia, Cambodia has 22 national holidays, and Myanmar has 19. The Philippines and Thailand each have 18 national holidays, while Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia each have 16. Viet Nam has 15 national holidays, and Singapore has 11. Laos has the fewest national holidays, with only 9 days off in 2024.

These figures highlight the diversity in the number of national holidays across the ASEAN member states, reflecting different cultural, religious, and historical events celebrated in each country.
