This assessment is conducted on 163 countries worldwide based on three indicators: societal safety, ongoing domestic and international conflicts, and the level of militarization. The lower the score, the higher the level of peace in that country.
In Southeast Asia, Singapore is the most peaceful country with an index score of 1.332, ranking 6th in the world. Meanwhile, Myanmar is the least peaceful country with an index score of 2.741, ranking 145th in the world.
