Singapore has become the smartest city in Southeast Asia and the 5th in the world!
The Institute Management and Development (IMD) has once again released the list of the world’s best cities according to the Smart City Index (SCI) 2024 survey. Out of the 142 cities included in the assessment, Zurich, Switzerland, emerged as the best, ranking first.
As for the Southeast Asian cities included in the ranking, there are 9 cities, with Singapore being the best, ranking 5th globally. Next is Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, ranking 73rd globally, and Bangkok at 84th globally.
The Smart City Index is a survey by IMD aimed at assisting the development of smart cities worldwide. IMD strives to ensure that these smart cities focus on the people living within them and embrace all sectors.
