The UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) comprise 17 global aims to address challenges and promote sustainability across economic, social, and environmental dimensions.

SDGs serve as a shared roadmap for global prosperity, emphasizing the interconnections between these facets of development.

The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings assess universities worldwide based on their alignment with the SDGs, measuring performance in research, stewardship, outreach, and teaching.

A Southeast Asian standout, Universiti Sains Malaysia, ranks in the top five for SDG achievement, followed by Chulalongkorn University and the Universitas Indonesia in the regional rankings.
