Singapore now holds the title for the most powerful passport globally, offering access to the highest number of destinations. This prestigious ranking is provided by the Henley Passport Index, which is based on exclusive data from the International Air Transport Authority (IATA) and has been tracking passport strength for 19 years.

The Henley Passport Index ranks 199 different passports and 227 travel destinations, with updates occurring monthly to reflect changes in visa policies and international relations. Singapore's passport tops the list with visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 195 destinations, showcasing the country's exceptional global mobility.

Southeast Asian countries have demonstrated strong passport performance in the region. Malaysia is ranked 13th, with its passport granting access to 183 destinations. Brunei Darussalam follows in 22nd place, offering entry to 168 destinations. These rankings highlight the growing influence and mobility of Southeast Asian nations on the global stage.
