In 2024, Thailand was identified as the country with the highest number of bald men in Southeast Asia, according to a survey conducted by Medihair. This survey assessed the prevalence of male hair loss across 47 countries, measuring the percentage of bald individuals within the population.
Globally, Spain ranked first with a baldness rate of 44.50%, while Saudi Arabia was placed 15th with a rate of 39.75%. Within Southeast Asia, Thailand led with a baldness rate of 30.94%, followed by Malaysia at 29.24%, the Philippines at 28.00%, and Indonesia at 26.96%.
These findings highlight the varying prevalence of male hair loss across different regions, with Thailand having the highest rate in Southeast Asia for 2024.
