Based on data from the U.S. Geological Survey, Mineral Commodity Summaries reported the 15 countries with the largest gold reserves in the world in 2023, with Australia being the country with the most reserves at 12,000 tons that year. Meanwhile, Indonesia ranked sixth with 2,600 tons of gold reserves.
