Hong Kong widens gap over Singapore as Asia's most int'l city

Hong Kong ranked first in the Asian Cities Internationality Index 2026 with 74.6 points, ahead of Singapore at 72.6 points.

The Ipsos and Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC) study evaluated 11 cities, highlighting Hong Kong’s strong global business position.

HKGCC Chairman Jacob Kam praised the city’s infrastructure strengths while calling for more innovation investment to maintain its international competitiveness.
