India becomes Bali's fastest-growing tourist market in May 2026

India's tourist visits to Bali jumped 26.88% in one month, from 46,513 to 59,014 in May 2026, says BPS Bali data. Bali welcomed 578,251 total visitors, up 4.5%.

India now ranks second in visitor share (10.21%), closing in on Australia's lead (25.19%, 145,638 visits), beating China, France, and the UK.

This surge pushed Bali's hotel occupancy up to 61.16%, with 5-star hotels most popular at 67.02%.
