Indonesia’s coffee exports surged by 76.33% in 2024, reaching a total value of US$1.6 billion, according to data from Statistics Indonesia (BPS).
The United States was the top destination, followed by Egypt, Malaysia, and Belgium, reflecting growing global demand for Indonesian coffee beans.
Lampung Province emerged as the country’s largest contributor, playing a key role in driving this export boom through its robust production and supply chain.
Officials credited the spike to improved post-harvest processing, international promotion, and stronger partnerships with global buyers.
