KFC Australia has stirred up excitement and debate with its new Zinger Bánh Mì, a bold twist on the beloved Vietnamese sandwich that swaps traditional pâté for a crispy Zinger fillet, topped with fresh veggies, mayo, and Supercharged sauce.
Some food lovers are eager to try it, while others argue that without pâté, it’s not a true bánh mì—but the biggest frustration comes from the fact that it’s only available in 10 Newcastle stores until March 24.
Meanwhile, KFC has also introduced Zinger Nachos, a loaded dish of crispy chicken over corn chips with guacamole, salsa, and nacho cheese sauce, giving fans another limited-time treat while they wait to see if the Zinger Bánh Mì gets a wider release.
With no confirmation of a nationwide launch, KFC says customer feedback will decide its fate, leaving the rest of Australia watching—and waiting—while Newcastle locals get the first bite.
