Malaysia's two most iconic sports venues have officially been rebranded under a new naming rights partnership between Perbadanan Stadium Malaysia (PSM) and Telekom Malaysia (TM), effective March 6, 2026.
Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil, the country's largest stadium, will now be known as TM Stadium Nasional, while Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil has been renamed Unifi Arena under the three-year agreement.
PSM Chief Executive Officer Iliyas Jamil stated that revenue generated from the naming rights deal will be directed toward upgrading and improving facilities at both venues, in line with the organisation's long-term plan to maintain world-class standards. He emphasised that the rebranding is part of PSM's broader strategy to ensure the stadiums remain relevant, comfortable, and competitive on a global stage.
Telekom Malaysia Group CEO Amar Huzaimi Md Deris welcomed the partnership, saying the company is honoured to be associated with venues that have long served as gathering places for Malaysians to celebrate achievements and witness historic moments. He expressed hope that the collaboration would further strengthen the stadiums as symbols of national unity and pride.
Both venues are located within the Bukit Jalil National Sports Complex and regularly host international football matches, major tournaments, concerts, and large-scale national events, cementing their status as the heart of Malaysian sports and entertainment.
