Malaysia retains world's leading Islamic economy title for 9th straight year in 2025

Malaysia has been named the world’s top Islamic economy for the ninth year in a row in 2025, according to DinarStandard’s State of the Global Islamic Economy Report.

Minister Nga Kor Ming said the ranking reflects global trust in the MADANI Government, supported by Malaysia’s strong Islamic finance and halal industry.

The achievement is expected to boost investor confidence and support more inclusive economic growth.
