Singapore Airlines (SIA) has announced that passengers will be able to watch FIFA World Cup 2026 matches live onboard from 11 June to 19 July 2026, with all tournament action broadcast in real time through Sport 24 on the airline's KrisWorld Live TV service at 30,000 feet.

KrisWorld Live TV is available on all SIA Boeing 787-10 and Boeing 737-8 aircraft, as well as 41 Airbus A350-900 and eight Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, though live broadcasts remain subject to satellite coverage, broadcaster arrangements, and regulatory approvals on selected routes.

Yeoh Phee Teik, Senior Vice President of Customer Experience at Singapore Airlines, said the initiative keeps passengers connected to one of the world's biggest sporting events, and reflects the airline's ongoing commitment to enhancing its in-flight experience and KrisWorld lineup.

Beyond live football, KrisWorld continues to offer over 1,900 entertainment options including blockbuster films, TV series, and both mainstream and independent music titles, alongside real-time news and business updates via BBC News.

The move also comes as travel demand around the tournament is expected to surge significantly, with Microsoft Advertising projecting approximately six million travellers for the FIFA World Cup 2026, as fans plan complex, multi-city itineraries heavily reliant on air travel.
