GMMTV is known as Thailand-based television production and talent agency just released a trailer of F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers as their latest series.
In September, GMMTV revealed four main actors for F4 Thailand through the series’ teaser and receive a lot of different responses on social media. Here is the main cast of this series:
Boys Over Flower is originally based on a Japanese manga that was published from 1992 to 2003 with the title “Hana Yori Dango” by Yoko Kamio. In 2001, it had been adapted into Taiwan’s “Meteor Garden”. Then in 2005 and 2009, it had been adapted into Japan’s “Hana Yori Dango” and South Korea’s “Boys Over Flowers” following in 2018 with China’s “Meteor Garden 2018”. All of the series remains as the original by its manga with tells story about a famous high school for wealthy students and the relationship between a poor girl and the head of F4 rich kids gang.
Based on the trailer, F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers is also has the same story shape but they adapt it to their own characteristics.
The first scene shows bullying by members of F4 in a video circulating with the appearance of the gang’s symbol of “declaration of war” as the franchise’s famous red card and followed with the room where F4 members sit silhouettely.
Bright Vachirawit who plays the role of Thyme, the head of F4, says “Do you know what the most powerful thing in the world is? It’s money. With enough money, we can do anything. We can turn a wrong into a right. We can turn black into white. We can even make someone praise us. We can do whatever with the snap of a finger.”
The trailer shows other F4 members such as MJ (Nani Hirunkit), Ren (Dew Jirawat) and Kavin (Win Metawin), and the female lead Gorya (Tu Tontawan).
This series that will be released in 2021 is produced by Patha Thongpan from Thai independent creative and production company Parbdee.
F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers was one of the series announced on Thursday during the GMMTV 2021 event where GMMTV announced their upcoming project by releasing trailers and introducing the actors named The New Decade Begins.
