Telkomsel Brings Outstanding Digital Products and Services for the G20 Summit in Bali

Telkomsel affirmed its commitment as a leading digital connectivity enabler to facilitate access to all of its digital products and services, particularly for G20 customers and delegates, in a series of events at the G20 Indonesia Summit, The 17th G20 Heads of State and Government Summit, which take place in Bali on November 15-16, 2022. By leveraging its network technology capabilities and digital asset ecosystem for the development of Indonesia and the world, Telkomsel is poised to provide foreign delegates participating in this international event with the full digital experience.

Telkomsel Sales Director Adiwinahyu B. Sigit explained, "By ensuring the availability of access to all digital products and services, supported by advanced broadband connectivity technology, Telkomsel takes on a role and continues to contribute to the smooth implementation of the G20 Presidency series of activities throughout 2022 in Indonesia, which focuses on the issue of global economic recovery. The momentum of the upcoming G20 Summit will also provide us with more opportunities to support Indonesia's commitment to demonstrate the great potential of transforming the country's industrial ecosystem and the best digital capabilities capable of providing state guests with quality digital access experiences."

 Telkomsel introduces the Telkomsel Prepaid Tourist starting card, powered by Telkomsel's Hyper 5G service, to optimize communication demands for digital activities of foreign delegations throughout the series of G20 activities in Indonesia. The Telkomsel Prepaid Tourist card provides foreign tourists with optimum access to the best digital experience through a bonus data/internet allowance of 25 GB and a local call quota of 25 minutes. To enhance communication and coordination, Telkomsel has increased the data/internet limit allocation on the Telkomsel Prepaid Tourist card to 125 GB (25 GB on all networks and 100 GB on the 5G network) for representatives of the G20 delegation.

Telkomsel has partnered with reseller outlets in the Nusa Dua area, Garuda Wisnu Kencana, and I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport to provide convenience in accessing leading products and services from Telkomsel.

 Derrick Heng, Director of Marketing for Telkomsel, stated, "By securing the availability of Telkomsel's superior products and services, we are striving to facilitate the G20 delegates' access to the greatest telecommunications and digital activities while in Indonesia. The 'Telkomsel Prepaid Tourist' beginning card provides all delegates with access to Hyper 5G connectivity. We also maintain the readiness of international roaming services to facilitate foreign delegations' access to telecommunications in Indonesia."

 Telkomsel is currently working with 382 cellular telecommunications companies from 180 countries worldwide to ensure that representatives of the G20 delegation will have access to international roaming services in Indonesia. Of these 382 cellular telecommunications companies, 48 are from the G20 delegation countries that will be present in Indonesia. The collaboration includes 4G Roaming Partnerships with at least one cellular telecommunications company from each country, as well as 5G Roaming Partnerships with 12 cellular telecommunications companies from the United States, Saudi Arabia, Canada, South Korea, France, the People's Republic of China, Russia and Turkey.

 Telkomsel, in collaboration with the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Informatics and the Indonesian Ministry of Trade, provides assistance services at a number of points to facilitate the registration of International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) smart devices that delegation representatives will utilize during the G20 series of events.
