The History of ASEAN

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations is a group of countries in Southeast Asia.

The founding of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations was based on the Bangkok Declaration.

The aim of establishing the Association of Southeast Asian Nations is to foster cooperation among member countries in order to accelerate economic growth, promote regional peace and stability, and establish cooperation in various fields of common interest.

There are five founding countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

The founding texts of the organization were signed by the foreign ministers of five countries.

There are five foreign ministers who are also known as the founding figures of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

Tun Abdul Razak is from Malaysia and Ramos is from the Philippines.They are both from Singapore and Thailand.

There were five member countries at its inception.In its development, Brunei Darussalam, Vietnam, Laotians, and Cambodia joined the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Brunei Darussalam, and Cambodia were born in August 1967.

A meeting between five foreign ministers from Southeast Asian countries led to the founding of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

Tun Abdul Razak is from Malaysia and Ramos is from the Philippines.They are both from Singapore and Thailand.

They held a three day meeting in Thailand in 1967.The five state representatives signed the Bangkok Declaration after the meeting.

In the Declaration, it was stated that the country representatives agreed to form a regional organization.

The Presidium of the Foreign Ministers of Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand stated several reasons for the formation of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

The belief in the need for efforts to further strengthen existing bonds of regional solidarity and cooperation is related to the existence of common interests and common problems among the countries of Southeast Asia.

There is a desire to establish a solid foundation for joint activities to enhance regional cooperation in Southeast Asia on the basis of a spirit of equality and friendship.

The aspiration for peace, independence, social justice, and economic prosperity will be realized by maintaining mutual understanding, good neighborliness, and cooperation among countries in the region.

Solid economic and social stability is the main responsibility of Southeast Asian countries.

I began my career in the banking industry in 1997, and stayed approx 6 years in it. This industry boost his knowledge about the economic condition in Indonesia, both macro and micro, and how to More understand it. My banking career continued in Yogyakarta when I joined in a program funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB),as the coordinator for a program aimed to help improve the quality of learning and teaching process in private universities in Yogyakarta. When the earthquake stroke Yogyakarta, I chose to join an international NGO working in the area of ?disaster response and management, which allows me to help rebuild the city, as well as other disaster-stricken area in Indonesia. I went on to become the coordinator for emergency response in the Asia Pacific region. Then I was assigned for 1 year in Cambodia, as a country coordinator mostly to deliver developmental programs (water and sanitation, education, livelihood). In 2009, he continued his career as a protocol and HR officer at the U.S. Consulate General in Surabaya, and two years later I joined the Political and Economic Section until now, where i have to deal with extensive range of people and government officials, as well as private and government institution troughout eastern Indonesia. I am the founder and Editor-in-Chief in Good News From Indonesia (GNFI), a growing and influential social media movement, and was selected as one of The Most Influential Netizen 2011 by The Marketeers magazine. I also wrote a book on "Fundamentals of Disaster Management in 2007"?, "Good News From Indonesia : Beragam Prestasi Anak Bangsa di dunia"? which was luanched in August 2013, and "Indonesia Bersyukur"? which is launched in Sept 2013. In 2014, 3 books were released in which i was one of the writer; "Indonesia Pelangi Dunia"?, "Indonesia The Untold Stories"? and "Growing!
