Vietnamese automaker VinFast has announced its plans to expand into the electric mobility market in Southeast Asia by offering its complete range of electric vehicles (EVs).

VinFast intends to introduce its first four right-hand drive EVs to the market.

The official debut of VinFast's brand and products in Asia took place at the Future Mobility Asia 2023 event, marking a significant milestone in the company's regional market strategy and global development journey.

During the event, VinFast showcased three electric vehicle models - VF e34, VF 8, and VF 9 - and provided test drives to allow visitors to experience the EV models and their smart features firsthand.

In addition to targeting customers, VinFast actively sought new partners to expand its market presence and promote sustainable mobility solutions in the region.

VinFast also expressed its intention to expand into the Southeast Asia market, in addition to its focus on key markets such as North America and Europe.

The company also plans to introduce right-hand steering versions of its EV models - VF 5, VF 6, VF 7, and VF e34 - tailored to meet the specific features and demands of the market.
