As a strategic move to revitalize its tourism sector, the government of Myanmar has implemented a visa-free policy for citizens of ASEAN member countries. This policy includes eight countries - Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam and Laos - with the aim of strengthening regional integration and increasing the number of international visitors.
With this new convenience, it is hoped that more visitors will be encouraged to explore Myanmar's cultural richness, natural landscapes and diverse culinary offerings.

New Visa-Free Policy
Myanmar's visa-free policy provides easier access for citizens of Singapore and Vietnam, allowing them to visit for up to 30 days. Whether for tourism or business, citizens of both countries can enter Myanmar by land, air or sea.
It should be noted, however, that visa-free access for citizens of Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, the Philippines and Thailand differs from that of Singapore and Vietnam. Travelers from these countries may stay in Myanmar for a maximum of 14 days. They are also restricted to certain entry points, including Yangon International Airport, Nay Pyi Taw International Airport and Mandalay International Airport.
