Ciputra Artpreneur marks its 10-year journey with a celebration on March 19, 2025, at Ciputra Artpreneur Gallery, as a token of appreciation for all those who have supported its existence. Since its establishment on August 16, 2014, it has served as a platform for performing arts, exhibitions, children's education, and the conservation of modern visual arts.
Embracing the Artpreneurship concept introduced by DR. (HC) Ir. Ciputra, Ciputra Artpreneur not only showcases high-quality artworks but also promotes the sustainability of the arts through economic value and innovation.
From the beginning, collaboration has been at the core of its development. Ciputra Artpreneur was built through partnerships with Ciputra Group (Indonesia), architectural firm Benoy (UK, Hong Kong), and theater consultant Phillip Soden (Australia), establishing the first international-standard arts center in Indonesia.
A Decade of Celebration and Program Development
The 10th-anniversary celebration began in 2024 with various programs, including the ONE PIECE Music Symphony 25th Anniversary World Tour concert and the launch of the children's creative space, Galeri Imaji, featuring an interpretation of Hendra Gunawan’s artwork. Over the years, Ciputra Artpreneur has hosted major performances such as Disney’s Beauty & the Beast (2015), I La Galigo (2019), and Musikal Keluarga Cemara (2024).
Additionally, Ciputra Artpreneur Gallery continues to enrich the arts experience with exhibitions such as 100 Years of Hendra Gunawan: Prisoner of Hope (2018) and Magister Raffaelo (2022). It has also served as a venue for community events, including the Santri Day (2024) celebration organized by the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs and Jakarta Archdiocese Children’s Day (2024).
The ONE PIECE Music Symphony concert also marked a significant milestone for Ciputra Artpreneur Theater, proving its capability to function as a concert hall for acoustic orchestra performances. Furthermore, this event signified the return of international performances to Ciputra Artpreneur and was the first official ONE PIECE concert ever held in Indonesia.
Future Commitments
Ciputra Artpreneur President Director, Rina Ciputra Sastrawinata, emphasized that this celebration is not just a moment of reflection but also a catalyst for continuous growth through creativity and collaboration. This commitment aligns with Ciputra Artpreneur’s vision of being an arts destination that evolves with the times.
Ciputra Artpreneur Director, Nararya Ciputra Sastrawinata, added that this decade-long journey serves as a foundation for enhancing quality and strengthening relationships with partners and art enthusiasts. To support this, Ciputra Artpreneur is upgrading its facilities, including audiovisual systems, lighting, and carpeting, to better accommodate various events, from exhibitions to seminars and weddings.
As part of the celebration, Ciputra Artpreneur is also offering a special package for the use of Ciputra Artpreneur Gallery within a designated period, as a gesture of appreciation and support for the arts and cultural community.
