The English Premier League is entering its decisive stages. This week, the Premier League will move into its 34th week.
For this week, the most anticipated match is undoubtedly Liverpool versus Tottenham Hotspur. Liverpool currently leads the English Premier League table with 79 points.
The Reds are 12 points ahead of their closest rivals, Arsenal (67-79). However, Arsenal has played more matches than Liverpool, with 34 games.
And if Liverpool gets one point when hosting Tottenham, Virgil van Dijk and his teammates' point tally will reach 80. That achievement will be uncatchable by Arsenal with only four weeks remaining in the English Premier League.
Even if Arsenal wins all of its last four matches, the maximum point collection for The Gunners, Arsenal's nickname, would be 79.
As for this week, there will only be eight English Premier League matches. This is because four Premier League teams, namely Manchester City, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, and Nottingham Forest, are participating in the FA Cup semifinals.
"We are very close to the championship title now. One more victory and we will be champions," said defender Trent-Alexander Arnold, as quoted by ESPN.
Alexander Arnold, who is rumored to join Real Madrid next season, said he wants to enjoy his last moments. His contract will expire on June 30th.
"We all want to give our best for the club and the fans," said the player who started his career at the Liverpool Academy at the age of 6.
