- Must not engage in any employment or business activities within the Philippines
Specific Requirements:
- Must be a citizen of a country that also offers a digital nomad visa to Filipino nationals
- The applicant’s home country must have a Philippine Foreign Service Post (FSP)
- If there is no FSP in the applicant's country, they can apply from the nearest country that has one
How Does the Process Work?
The Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) will issue the visa, working in coordination with the Department of Tourism and the Bureau of Immigration to ensure the smooth implementation of the program.
Strict monitoring will be in place to prevent misuse of the visa, particularly in light of past issues involving offshore gaming operators (POGOs).
