Bali has been named the world’s favorite island in a global survey by UK-based Travelbag, celebrated for its blend of cultural richness, tropical climate, and natural beauty—from peaceful beaches to vibrant rice terraces—which continues to attract travelers seeking both rest and authentic local experiences.
The Bali Tourism Board praised the recognition as proof of successful efforts in sustainable tourism and cultural preservation, noting that high visitor satisfaction is the result of coordinated strategies that prioritize both community welfare and ecological protection.
According to experts from the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Bali’s enduring charm lies in its culinary variety, wellness retreats, strong digital nomad ecosystem, and welcoming atmosphere for all types of travelers, from solo explorers to families.
Data from the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency shows Bali’s year-round temperature averages around 33°C, with predictable seasons that support consistent tourism flows, particularly in hotspots like Ubud, Seminyak, and Nusa Dua, where both luxury and affordable options coexist.
To manage its growing global profile, Bali’s tourism sector is now working with the United Nations World Tourism Organization to enhance waste management, upgrade transportation systems, and enforce smarter development policies that safeguard the island’s long-term appeal and environmental integrity.
