China's National Immigration Administration announced on Thursday that Indonesia has been added to the country's 240-hour visa-free transit program, expanding the total number of eligible countries to 55.
Effective immediately, eligible Indonesian travelers can enter China through any of the 60 designated ports across 24 provincial-level regions without requiring a visa for transit purposes.
The expanded policy allows Indonesian citizens to stay in China for up to 240 hours (10 days) while transiting to a third destination, significantly enhancing travel flexibility for business and tourism activities.
The visa-free transit policy now covers citizens from 55 countries including Indonesia, Russia, and Britain, who can engage in tourism and business activities during their extended layovers.
