Ferrari's CEO, Benedetto Vigna, revealed that younger buyers are driving a significant shift in the brand’s customer base, with 40% of new Ferrari owners now under the age of 40—an increase from 30% just 18 months ago.
Despite growing demand, this Italian luxury sports car manufacturer continues to maintain its exclusivity by keeping production tightly controlled, ensuring a waiting period of over two years for many buyers, which Vigna considers part of the brand’s unique luxury experience.
As the company moves forward, Ferrari is preparing to unveil its first fully electric vehicle on October 9, 2025, as part of a larger plan to offer a mix of combustion, hybrid, and electric models to cater to a diverse customer base.
While some traditional Ferrari enthusiasts remain hesitant about EVs, Vigna noted that a new wave of buyers is eager to embrace electric performance, reinforcing the brand’s evolution while maintaining its prestige.
