FIFA has officially designated Jakarta as its operational hub for Southeast Asia and East Asia, according to Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) Chairman Erick Thohir.

The FIFA Hub in Jakarta will serve as a central coordination center for 21 member associations across Southeast Asia and East Asia, expanding FIFA's regional influence significantly.

The Host Country Agreement was signed following the FIFA Executive Football Summit 2025 held in Miami, United States, marking a historic milestone for Asian football development.

PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir met with FIFA President Gianni Infantino to formalize this strategic partnership that will enhance football coordination throughout the region.

The establishment of this FIFA Regional Office strengthens FIFA's footprint across Southeast Asia and East Asia, supporting the organization's goal of global football development and unity.
