Lightstorm, Microsoft, Singtel, and Tata Communications will build the 3,600 km I-2SEA submarine cable linking India, Malaysia, and Singapore.

Launching in 2029, it supports massive AI and cloud demands. Lightstorm CEO Amajit Gupta states it will seamlessly connect major regional AI hubs like Hyderabad and Kuala Lumpur.

With NEC Corporation as the supplier, this vital infrastructure guarantees enhanced digital connectivity and network resilience across the region.
