Prabowo opens door for Indonesia to import milk, beef from France

President Prabowo Subianto has opened Indonesia’s market to milk and beef imports from France as part of efforts to strengthen national food security and was welcomed by the French President Emmanuel Macron.

Macron said French dairy and beef products can help support Indonesia’s food security and nutrition goals.

Indonesia and France also agreed to strengthen economic ties and support progress on the Indonesia-EU trade deal (IEU-CEPA).
