Viet Nam, Cuba roll out joint rice project to improve food self-sufficiency

Viet Nam and Cuba have launched a joint rice cultivation project to support Cuba’s food self-sufficiency.

Through the partnership, Vietnamese experts will share farming technology and cultivation methods to help improve local rice harvests.

Officials said the project strengthens historic ties between the two nations while supporting long-term food security and agricultural resilience.
