VinFast announced two new ultra luxury electric cars under the Lac Hong brand. The models are Lac Hong 800S and Lac Hong 900S. The company plans to release them in 2027. These vehicles join the premium lineup alongside the 900 LX model, including a bulletproof version planned for 2025.
Both cars use a design language inspired by Vietnamese culture. The grille design reflects bamboo. The logo represents the Lac bird. Interior and exterior details include patterns from the Bronze Drum and images of terraced rice fields. The Lac Hong name appears in calligraphy on gold plated alloy.
The interior uses premium materials such as Nappa leather, precious wood, and gold plated details. The vehicles include luxury features like zero gravity seats, automatic doors, and advanced entertainment systems. The Lac Hong 900S also offers a glass partition between driver and passengers, a star themed roof, a large projector, and a foldable work table.
Both models use a new full active suspension system for smoother driving. The vehicles can run on three electric motors with total power up to 460 kW. VinFast has launched more than 15 electric car models and has led the Vietnamese market for 16 months. In 2025 the company sold 175,099 vehicles in Viet Nam.
