This month, 25 years ago, American rock band, Dream Theather officially released "Images And Words" album. What is your memory of this album?
Well, it's the band's highest-selling album, the gold-selling album which was released on July 7th, 1992, which reached No. 61 on the Billboard 200 chart. It is the first Dream Theater release to feature James LaBrie on vocals. The album maintains its position as the band's most commercially successful studio album to date, and the song "Pull Me Under" has the distinction of being the only top-10 hit (radio or otherwise) the band has had to date. This particular song has also had more recent success as it has appeared in the 2008 video game Guitar Hero World Tour.
This year, the band made a world tour called "Images, Words & Beyond Tour 2017" which covers North America, Europe, and Asia.
Dream Theater will also bring their Images, Words & Beyond Tour to Thailand and Indonesia this September. The progressive metal outfit released their 13th full-length album, The Astonishing, in January 2016. Details as follows:

Dream Theater is an American progressive metal band formed in 1985 under the name Majesty by John Petrucci, John Myung, and Mike Portnoy while they attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. They subsequently dropped out of their studies to concentrate further on the band that would ultimately become Dream Theater. Though a number of lineup changes followed, the three original members remained together along with James LaBrie and Jordan Rudess until September 8, 2010, when Portnoy left the band. In October 2010, the band held auditions for a drummer to replace Portnoy. Mike Mangini was announced as the new permanent drummer on April 29, 2011.

The band is well known for the technical proficiency of its instrumentalists, who have won many awards from music instruction magazines. Guitarist John Petrucci has been named as the third player on the G3 tour six times, more than any invited players. In 2009 he was named the No. 2 best metal guitarist by Joel McIver in his book The 100 Greatest Metal Guitarists. He was also named as one of the "Top 10 Fastest Shredders of All Time" by GuitarOne magazine (Wikipedia)
