While Jakarta may not beat London or New York City in many polls of the world’s top destinations, the capital city has beaten all competitors to be the world’s most tagged city on Instagram. The photo-sharing app revealed the cities across the globe which attract the most users, based on location tags.

Behind the Indonesian capital in the top five are Brazil’s Sao Paulo, New York City, London and Madrid. Instagram also listed the ten most popular hashtags, most of which are in English. These include #Goodmorning, #Work, #Love, #TBT and #Mood. The study also suggested that vibrant location sticker, “Like” sticker, hashtag sticker, digital time sticker and weather sticker are among the most used.
