Brand Finance, the global authoritative consulting agency, released its ranking of the most valuable brands around the world in 2018. Amazon has been named the world’s most valuable brand in Brand Finance’s Global 500 2018 Report, tipping out Apple and Google for the prize.
On a regional basis, Mercedes-Benz ranks as Europe’s most valuable brand, Amazon as North America’s, the petroleum company Pemex takes out no.1 in Latin America, while the telco Etisalat is the most valuable brand in the Middle East and Africa, Telstra ranks no. 1 in the Australasia region, while Samsung still tops the ranks in Asia.
It is important to note that brands from Southeast Asia is gaining a higher grounds with Singapore's Broadcom and Telkom Indonesia jump 46 and 45 steps respectively, compared to 2017. Malaysia's Petronas still tops the Southeast Asia ranking (rank 132), even after 7 steps sliding.
Brand Finance, as the world famous brand value and strategy consulting firm, will assess the thousands of well-known global brands every year. It is one of the most credible global brand value evaluation agencies and its strict selection criteria includes not only Brand Strength Index (BSI), but also Brand Loyalty and Marketing Investment, etc.

My banking career continued in Yogyakarta when I joined in a program funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB),as the coordinator for a program aimed to help improve the quality of learning and teaching process in private universities in Yogyakarta. When the earthquake stroke Yogyakarta, I chose to join an international NGO working in the area of ?disaster response and management, which allows me to help rebuild the city, as well as other disaster-stricken area in Indonesia. I went on to become the coordinator for emergency response in the Asia Pacific region. Then I was assigned for 1 year in Cambodia, as a country coordinator mostly to deliver developmental programs (water and sanitation, education, livelihood). In 2009, he continued his career as a protocol and HR officer at the U.S. Consulate General in Surabaya, and two years later I joined the Political and Economic Section until now, where i have to deal with extensive range of people and government officials, as well as private and government institution troughout eastern Indonesia.
