When it comes to world-famous high-end companies, the name Louis Vuitton, a French fashion firm, should not be overlooked. Since its inception in 1854, LV has attracted a large following, particularly for its classic bag form and distinctive monogram.

Audrey Hepburn, Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Alexa Chung are among the celebrities who have worn LV bags.

Dark brown LV monograms with lv lettering strewn irregularly are frequently seen in her bags. LV monograms are unmistakable in the world of designer bags, right?

This monogram was created as a memorial to Louis Vuitton's late father by Georges Vuitton, Louis Vuitton's son.

Georges was influenced by Japanese square flower designs and was usually brown and beige when it was created in 1896. Damier, which means plaid in French, is another name for Lv's trademark logo.

This monogram was also made by Georges to offer identify to the luxury brand's products and to help them stand out. Finally, this monogram is becoming well-known and revered throughout the world.

LV luggage became popular among celebrities and socialites all over the world in the 1950s and 1960s. On vacation, many celebrities travel with LV luggage. Then, in the 1960s and 1970s, LV monogrammed luggage grew more fashionable as luxury handbags like the Speedy and buckets were successfully offered on the market.

Not only that, but the LV monogram still has a few different models. Marc Jacobs worked as Creative Director in 1997 and introduced The Lacquer Collection, a new monogram that was popular with Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss.

Marc Jacobs developed another monogram of his cooperation with artist Takashi Murakami a few years later. The monogrammed design this time is a white foundation with a vibrant logo. The identical monogram was merged with a picture of a cherry a year later.

Denim bags began to be worn with monogrammed leather as well as monogrammed denim. Monograms began to appear on clothing, wallets, boots, and headgear, in addition to bags.

At the end of the day, monogrammed designs are still evolving. LV celebrated its 160th anniversary in 2014. They worked with six designers and artists to create bags that featured LV's trademark monogram. Karl Lagerfeld, Frank Gehry, Cindy Sherman, Marc Newson, Christian Louboutin, and Rei Kawakubo are among the designers and artists featured.
