Lights, Speed, Action! Grand Prix Singapore 2023 On the Horizon!

Start your engines and get ready, because the 2023 Formula One Singapore Grand Prix is about to hit the track.

The F1 Singapore Grand Prix will once again dazzle spectators over three days, from Friday to Sunday, September 15-17, 2023. The iconic Marina Bay Motorway Circuit will be the perfect host. The race will consist of 62 laps over 4.940 kilometers.

The first two days will feature practice sessions and qualifying races, with the schedule starting at 2 p.m. and continuing into the evening. The final day is the much-anticipated official race, which begins at 8 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m.

The Singapore Grand Prix itself is known as "The Night Race" because most of the racing takes place at night. Naturally, special lighting has been installed along the circuit to ensure optimal lighting conditions during the race.

The decision to hold the race at night was influenced by several considerations, including creating an ideal time slot for television viewers around the world, avoiding the sweltering Singapore afternoon heat, and showcasing the mesmerizing charm of the Marina Bay Street Circuit under floodlights.

The Singapore Grand Prix was added to the Formula One calendar for the first time in 2008. Since then, it has become one of the most anticipated races on the calendar, largely due to the city's beautiful backdrop and spectacular nightlife.

Aside from the racing, the Singapore Grand Prix also offers a variety of entertainment and other events. There are concert stages with famous artists performing, as well as restaurants, bars and other entertainment activities around the circuit.

This time around, F1 Singapore 2023 will also feature three full days of music concerts to delight fans. A host of world-class artists, including Jackson Wang, Post Malone, Rich Brian, Robbie Williams and The Kooks, will perform from afternoon to night. Kings of Leon will be the only performer for two consecutive days, September 16 and 17.

The combination of sporting competition, entertainment and technological innovation has helped cement the Singapore Grand Prix as one of the most coveted and prestigious events on the Formula One calendar. So make sure you're ready for some incredible action on this iconic circuit!
