The silver medal won by Kunlavut Vitidsarn is Thailand's first medal in the Paris 2024 Olympics. In 2022, he won the German Open 2022 title. In Southeast Asia, he won two gold medals for Thailand in men's singles and men's team badminton at the 2021 SEA Games in Hanoi, Vietnam.
