According to data collected by Insider Monkey in an article titled “20 Fastest Growing Economies in Asia in 2024”. Cambodia occupies the top position among other Southeast Asian countries, with a real GDP growth rate (2024) of 6.1% and a GDP per capita growth rate (2024) of 6.34%.This ranking method relies on real GDP growth rate and GDP per capita growth rate as indicators of economic health. The real GDP growth rate data for 2024 is taken from the IMF database, while the GDP per capita growth is calculated based on IMF current price data between 2023 and 2024.
The list is ranked based on the real GDP growth rate as our primary metric, with GDP per capita growth rate as the secondary metric. Tie-breakers use the secondary metric to determine the ranking. It should be noted that this list does not include Middle Eastern countries.
