In a recent interview with Jimmy Fallon, Microsoft’s co-founder Bill Gates stated that artificial intelligence (AI) will replace most human jobs within the next decade, except for certain professions.
He emphasized that roles like coding, biology, and energy management require deep expertise and problem-solving skills that AI cannot fully automate, making them relatively safe from displacement.
While AI can assist in generating code, diagnosing diseases, and optimizing energy efficiency, it lacks the advanced knowledge and human intuition necessary for these fields.
Gates, along with other tech leaders like NVIDIA’s Jensen Huang and OpenAI’s Sam Altman, acknowledges AI’s growing influence on the job market but believes that some tasks will always require human involvement, ensuring that not all professions are at risk.
