Indonesia’s Citilink emerged as Southeast Asia’s most punctual airline in February 2026, according to the latest OAG On-Time Performance Report. The airline posted an 86.97% on-time arrival rate, placing it ahead of other regional carriers during the month.
The milestone stands out for Citilink, the low-cost arm of Garuda Indonesia, as on-time performance is measured using the widely accepted global standard of flights arriving or departing within 15 minutes of schedule. That benchmark is often used to reflect operational consistency, turnaround efficiency, and overall service reliability.
The result is even more notable because February 2026 was not an easy month for airlines in the region. Aviation operations were under added pressure from disruptions linked to the West Asia conflict, which affected airspace conditions, fuel costs, route planning, and schedule stability across Southeast Asia.
Because OAG’s monthly reports are among the most recognized references in the aviation industry, Citilink’s top regional ranking carries real weight. It signals that the Indonesian carrier was able to outperform several larger and better-resourced low-cost competitors in Southeast Asia during a difficult operating period.
